Hitting
Graney never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Graney when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Graney isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2014 Outlook
If Graney doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
