Hitting
The book on Gallinger is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Gallinger always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Gallinger when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Gallinger you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.
