This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Gallagher always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Gallagher when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Gallagher doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Deshaun's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
