Hitting
Fulks has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. A spray hitter in the classic sense, Fernandito puts the ball all over the park.

Baserunning & Defense
Fulks has excellent speed and uses it wisely. He reads pitchers' moves well and is capable of stealing in any situation. His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet.
