Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Flood hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He is easy prey for any righthander who can throw a slider off the outside corner. Flood handles lefthanders who bring the ball into his quick hands much better. One thing's for sure, Bill Flood is a dead-pull hitter.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Flood you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Flood isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
