Hitting
In past seasons, Farrell has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Farrell is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Farrell hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. Chris's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Farrell isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
