Feranza Escobar

Pitching
He can get groundballs when he needs them in a jam. Escobar can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Escobar also has a decent changeup. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
He never has controlled the running game. Escobar seems distracted after his delivery. He's sometimes out of position, fails to cover a base or doesn't back up throws. Escobar is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Escobar has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Escobar as a pinch-runner on occasion.
