Clyde Engert
Catcher | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Engert is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Engert always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He struggles away from home.
Baserunning & Defense Engert has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.
