Hitting
Duprey always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Duprey has excellent speed and uses it wisely. He reads pitchers' moves well and is capable of stealing in any situation. He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. He's also one of the better throwing shortstops in the league.
