Ron Decker
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Decker hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Decker when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Ron Decker to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Decker you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
