In past seasons, Dandrade has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Dandrade is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Dandrade always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Dandrade isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. Minor league scouts have accused Dandrade of being a liability in the field. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.
