Hitting
Cummings never has been a patient hitter. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to right-center. He struggles away from home.

Baserunning & Defense
He might not deliver for you at the plate, but Cummings can certainly deliver in the field. He is an exceptional fielder. His arm strength is well above average and runners rarely try to take liberties against him. Cummings isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2014 Outlook
It's really a shame he hasn't caught on somewhere. He might be a decent addition to someone's bench.
