Hitting
Cumberland never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Cumberland has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Let's face facts: Cumberland hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Harry Cumberland to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He's an adequate third basemen who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough. Cumberland isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
