Hitting
Cox never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Cox has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Cox always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Cox isn't a fluid catcher, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Andre's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Cox has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.
