Dan Cowens
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Cowens always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Cowens when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Cowens is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. Minor league scouts have accused Cowens of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.
