Walt Corrington
First Baseman | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Corrington is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Walt Corrington to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.
Baserunning & Defense His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Walt's arm leaves a little to be a desired. He has no speed at all and runs the bases conservatively.
