Hitting
Conigliaro never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Chicago Windbags do tend to sit Conigliaro when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Bobby Conigliaro to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Conigliaro doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
