Marty Castillo
Center Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Castillo is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Marty Castillo to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Minor league scouts have accused Castillo of being a liability in the field. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Castillo isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
