In past seasons, Campos has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Campos is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Mike Campos to pull the ball.

When you play Campos you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. He has no speed at all and runs the bases conservatively.
