This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Craig Burns to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Burns doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Burns you're not putting him in for his glove. Craig's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
