Bill Burns
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
But Bill's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Burns always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He doesn't perform well against right-handed pitching.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. He has a strong, accurate arm. Burns doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
