Bernie Brown
Center Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
The book on Brown is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. With his slap-hitting approach, Brown always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Bernie Brown to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Brown doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Brown you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.
