Jack Briggs

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. One thing's for sure, Jack Briggs is a dead-pull hitter.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Briggs you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Briggs often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.
