Slicker Braatz
Left Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Braatz hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Free Agents do tend to sit Braatz when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. Braatz doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Slicker's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
