Pitching
Borkowski forces hitters to keep the ball on the ground. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. Borkowski can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Borkowski also has a decent changeup. His composure needs work. When Borkowski starts getting hit, he gets mad and loses concentration. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He's average in terms of controlling the running game. Borkowski is agile on the mound, though he makes needless errors when his concentration wanders. Borkowski is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Borkowski has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Borkowski as a pinch-runner on occasion.
