Mark Borders
Second Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
In past seasons, Borders has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Borders always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
Borders doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Borders you're not putting him in for his glove. Mark's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
