Pat Beck
Catcher | Chicago Windbags

Hitting
The book on Beck is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Pat Beck to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. Beck doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.

2014 Outlook
Beck flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Chicago Windbags to send him down promptly.
