Erskine Bayuk
Relief Pitcher | Free Agents

Pitching
Now he's the consumate ground-ball pitcher, which I love: ground balls never leave the stadium. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. If you're going in to face Bayuk, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Bayuk, and that's saying a lot. He's trying to develop a sinker, but as of yet it's been well below par. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Bayuk is agile on the mound, though he makes needless errors when his concentration wanders. He has a poor pickoff move and a slow delivery, so basestealers can run at will. Bayuk is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Bayuk has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Bayuk as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Bayuk.
