Allie Atz
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Atz has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Atz is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Atz always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Atz isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Atz you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
