Christaphe Aquilar
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Aquilar is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Aquilar always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Aquilar when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. Aquilar doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Christaphe's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
