Dain Antley
Starting Pitcher | Detroit Polar Bears

Pitching
Though Antley can't just blow the ball by hitters, he has some giddyup on his fastball. The Detroit Polar Bears hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Antley is nothing special in the field. He doesn't hold runners very close, which gives his catcher a bit of a workout. Interesting sidenote, The Detroit Polar Bears have been known to use Antley as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
Antley has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Detroit Polar Bears will give him his walking papers before the end of the season. I just don't know if The Detroit Polar Bears are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
