John Andrews
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
The book on Andrews is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Andrews isn't a fluid third baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Andrews doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.
