Let's face facts: Aderholdt hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Chicago Windbags do tend to sit Aderholdt when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Aderholdt struggles on the road.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Aderholdt you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Aderholdt isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
